The Legends Centre is just one of the recreation centres that offer public skating, swimming, library and a fitness centre. The new GM Centre hosts a range of concerts and sport venues. NEB'S Funworld offers fun for all ages with 5 pin bowling, indoor bumper cars and go-carting, rock climbing, pinball arcade and a full bar and billiards.
Oshawa is home to the Parkwood Estates and Botanical Gardens and host to the Annual Peony Festival with over 300 varieties of peony held on June 8 and 9.
If you’re a nature lover than Oshawa offers the Second Marsh Wildlife and the McLauglin Bay Wildlife Reserves featuring nearly 400 hectares of accessible waterfront and open space with self guided walks on a well-maintained trail system.
